At our church I work with the Young Women who are 16-18 years old. Last week I taught a lesson on Finding Joy Now. At the end of the lesson I gave each of the girls this notebook that I remade, to use as a Gratitude Journal. I added a page with a personal note to each girl, and also some great quotes for them to keep in mind. I love how they turned out, and they were pretty simple to do. And just how cute is that tiny gel pen I found to go with each one?

Here is my latest finish. I actually made the quilt top the end of last year, but I've just finally got it a back, quilted and bound.
It's cheerful huh?I love the back. These fabrics are from the line "Posh". You gotta love that name.We have a family reunion coming up the end of the month. We always have an auction to raise money for the next reunion. I'm planning on donating a quilt. I wonder if it should be this one???
On another note--My Mother-in-law can not have her ears pierced. Finding any clip earrings is so hard. I've been on a mission to make her some fun clips. This is what I gave her for Mother's Day. Sorry about the blurry pictures.

I think I might like this one even more than the ZigZag. (Don't tell the ZigZag.) I quilted this one in the same corally thread, but with an all over loops. This quilt really has a fun and playful look to it.I just wish I had some twin baby girls to wrap up in them, but since I don't, they are both off to my Shop.
