My swap items for the { Urban } HOME Goods Swap went in the mail today.
I ended up making a sewing machine cover...
I mostly used fabric from the Amy Butler line "Love" and a gray solid.
This has been a super fun swap to be apart of.
I thought I would take a swapping break, but apparently I can't get enough. I just signed up for the 3rd round of The Pillow Talk Swap. Here is some pillow inspiration.
I also finally made Strandz a Facebook page. Check it out.

ReplyDeleteAwesome swap goodies Allie! Your partner is going to love them. That's one thing I need but haven't made for myself yet - a machine cover.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I love the grey fabric and how it matches the Love line.

ReplyDeleteAllie,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I just got this out of the mail box and I am so excited - it is just divine!!! Thank you so much for all the beautiful work you have done for me, I just can't believe my luck! Did you make the machine cover from a pattern? You should do a tutorial for it, it is so lovely and very clever.
I hope you have received something equally nice in your mail box!
Megan.
I saw that sewing machine cover on flickr. I love it!! Hope it found a good home!
ReplyDeleteCuuuuute!! I'm extremely new to quilting and haven't ventured into a swap yet, but I sure do love looking at what everyone else is swapping! Thanks for sharing!
