Tweet Zig Zag

One more finished! I love this one--it is just so fun!I stopped in at Gracie Lou's the other day and got this cute back and binding. I just think these little scooters are so stinkin' cute. Don't you? I quilted it with a lightly variegated King Tut thread in a kinda corally (I'm sure that's a word.) color. It's "twin" is getting binding right now. It will be done later tonight.

Crumbs

Gracie has been way sick since Thursday. So I have spent a lot of time hanging out with her on the couch, watching movies. Over the weekend I did get a chance to play with fabric. That makes me smile.
I have been making Crumb blocks.
This is what that means my table looks li
ke:And here is the stack I have finished so far:I think that is about 55 blocks.
And this is what they can look like finished:
I love these. I love that they have so many of my favorite fabrics in them. I love that each one is so different. I love that they are 100% made from my scrap bin. I can't wait to get an actual quilt finished with them.

Spring to Finish

Jacquie always inspires me. I'm joining her once again with her Spring to Finish.I seem to have a hard time getting things all the way complete. I guess I just love to start so many things. If I don't have an actual deadline, things can easily get lost in the shuffle. I have quite a few quilt tops that need a back made and then quilted and finished. I also have quite a few projects that I am working on at once. Gracie also just finished her first quilt top, so I need to get a back for her and get it quilted. My least favorite part of the quilting process is making a back. Seems so silly, they are so simple to make. I just don't want to! So here a go--I'm going to get some projects finished.
I did just get this commissioned quilt finished last night. One down....many more to go!

Quilt Festival 2009

Amy at Park City Girl is hosting an Online Quilt Festival. Check out her blog for links to tons of great quilts.
Here is my entry, Gracie's cuddle quilt--I still love this quilt. Gracie sleeps under it every night, and loves to cuddle in it for movie's and such.
It was fun to make, and has been well loved.

And here's some jewelry I just made for Shauna.

Easter

Saturday evening Grandma & Grandpa Anderson came over and we colored some eggs.
Tony's egg is a Cubs fan.

We had a fun Easter egg hunt before we went to church. We didn't get a ton of pictures during our egg hunt, because I forgot to charge the camera battery. Oops.
We sure had a good Easter and hope you all did too.

Tag, Quilty Blogs & Stuff

You know there are always a ton of projects going on at once around here.
Here is a quilt top I am working on. I fell in love with the little birdies on this fabric.

Look how cute this little quilt is going to be!

I have mo
re of these same fabrics that I'm playing with. It might become another zig-zag top, or maybe pinwheels, or I don't know what. We'll see.

I was tagged by Allie, and how can you resist a tag from your own name? So here are seven things I love:
1. My knowledge of Jesus Christ
2. My Family--I really am so lucky
3. Great Friends
4. Fabric
5.
Chips & "Los Hermano's" Salsa...mmmm
6. Chips & Ranch Dip
7. I love to create, all kinds of things!
