A little more on the Doll Quilt Swap...
We have all been given a person for a secret swap. I'll be making a small quilt for somebody, and somebody else will be making a quilt for me.

Of course you want to make the perfect quilt for your partner, so I have been stalking my partner. It is really fun to try to get to know someone and what they like--secretly.
I did not anticipate how hard it would be to decide what to make. I really want to make something my partner will love!

I've got a few ideas going, and I have been debating them in my head. I started working on an idea last night. Here is just a peek at the possibility. What do you think?

And in case whoever is making me a quilt is checking up on me...here is a little bit more about me--
I love stars and I love trees. I hate hearts and teddy bears. Wonky is one of my very favorite words.
I really hope that if you are making something for me, your not worrying as much as I am! So silly!

Blue Bell

Another quilt finished. I made this top sometime early this year, maybe February. Do you think it took me long enough to get around to quilting and binding?

I quilted it with an all-over loops in a slightly variegated green thread. The back is yummy blue minkee.

It is another Crazy Four Patch. I love them. If you want to make one, there is a tutorial here. I think they look so fun, and they are a very forgiving block to make. This is a design I will use over and over again. And of course, It's in the Shop.

We got to spend the past week at Lake Powell.

It was Heaven.
We got to go with the M&M and J&J families. We stayed on a beautiful houseboat. We got to enjoy seeing Rainbow Bridge, boating, jet skiing, fishing, playing in the water and sun, cliff jumping, hiking and had an absolute fabulous time!

One more done...and I'm outta here!

Little Boy Blue.
It's finished and off to its new owner! I hope they love it!

And I'm off to Lake Powell for a week! Sunshine, Pepsi, Red Rock....Bring it on!!!
