This blog is mostly my creative journal. While I include everyday life, I don't really focus on the personal. But, the last few months have been hard for my family, and the last week even more so.
But now we are on to a new beginning. With that, I have realized once again how important it is for me to create. I love to be able to take something and turn it into something else, in my own way. For me this is a need.

I have a need to create too. I'm a writer mostly. I also cross-stitch, draw, try to paint, make purses, learn to play instruments, and quilt. Writing is the only thing I'm really good in, but I love doing everything else. I have to have an outlet. For me, it's a stress relief.
