Right Brain, Left Brain

Well I am still alive.
I have started PT, a step in the right direction. I hate PT. Hate.  I get to go for 11 more weeks.

I do almost understand what I had done now. (pan capsular plication--seven anchors and a whole lot of pleats put in all of my tendons and muscle reattached)
I try to stay positive but sometimes it doesn't work so great. I'm learning and relearning all kinds of things I don't like about myself. For example how much I hate not being able to be busy and create. It is such a need for me to be creative. I'm also not so great at needing to depend on others, or you know, asking for help. Ugg.

Anyway one way that I have found to waste time is on Pinterest. Have you seen it? You should totally come waste time with me. It's pretty fun. That is where I found this great add.

I am so not Left Brain.

Hi Allie,
Just want you to know I am thinking of you and want to encourage you to just keep on keeping on ..... I am trying to memorize Scriptures, I am really trying to stick at it, Maggie Ann at Knitting Kat gave me some help on how she memorizes. Perhaps this quiet time in your life could be used to find creative ways to practice memorization of the Word?
Whatever you do do, may you be blessed in it.
love to you and your family,
Val xx Oxfordshire UK

Oh Allie the doctors quilted your shoulder!! *wink*... I have been away for a while, but I am back again. I can sympathize with your feelings about P.T. I have been going on and off since October of last year. I think I am close to the end. Keep at it, kiddo ... it will pay off eventually. I will continue to pray for your recovery.

I somehow stumbled upon your blog while feeding my fabric obsession. Hope you are feeling better now...I know all too well about the capsular plication procedure ...my daughter has had four of them. It is a terrible surgery!! Best wishes...hope you are back quilting!
