"First Snow" Quilt

It's finished!

Here it is in all it's quilted and washed crinkly goodness. I'm lovin' it. I'm so happy with how it all came together.
I was having some major tension issues, so the quilting on the back isn't great, but oh well. I still love it. When I showed it to my Mom she said it looked fresh like the first snow, so that's where the name came from.
Today it makes me happy.

It's always so fun to see a project to completion! First Snow is a perfect name for it. It does remind me of those first big flakes, drifting gently down. It's a lovely quilt!

Love this quilt! Funnily enough I saw the pic first without reading the title and my first thought was fresh snow! fabulous use of the coloured fabric in the white. Adorable!

I love how random and sparse the stars are on the quilt. I love the fabric and lots of white space. Great job!

It's a beauty! Good for you to get it done. Now, snuggle up with a good movie. You deserve a little break.

Yeah, I would be happy too if I had just finished this adorable quilt!! I love the white background. I'm trying to decide which pattern to use for my sister's quilt....I may try this!! Thanks for sharing this lovely quilt.

Your wonky Christmas Stars cq First Snow quilt is gorgeous! Today I quilted (also tension problems plus a few minor puckers on the back) a pretty white quilt and though I have never ever used plain white before, I like it very much. But to return to yours: well done!

I love it! I'm making a bunch of mini quilts - and one very large - with figgy pudding. The colors are wonderful, and in your wonky stars it does look like a first snow!

Allie, I LOVE everything about it! The wonky stars, their randomness, the white background, the dense quilting...well done! I want to cozy up under it with a cup of hot chocolate. Very, very nice.
