I finished this quilt the other day, but there hasn't been a nice sunny day to get very good pictures yet.
I love how it turned out, but so far it doesn't have a name. Sometimes I think that is the hardest part of the process. Any suggestions?
This was such a fun one to make. I quilted it with random curvy lines. It reminds me of water.
It is actually all the "left-overs" after cutting out another project. I love to work with the left overs, and I usually finish with the scraps before the "real" project.

That means I'll have another project finished soon. :)

How funny! I'm the same way. I just make an entire quilt top out of the leftovers from a quilt that is still on the design wall and only about 1/8 of the way sewn together. I have even more scraps now and plans for a pillow, pot holders, a mini quilt....
It's lovely Allie - it reminds me of the tropics. I love the quilting, that's how I do my water quilts!
Blue Bayou!
Blue Bayou!
Wow love that quilt. It reminds of the ocean so I thought of Aqua as a name. Enjoy
You have a winner here, and the quilt lines are so pretty.
I think we are more creative, and feel less concerned with messing up when we are using scraps. It often turns out a more favored piece, too. I do that all the time-!
Beautiful! It looks like a clear, deep running stream. Can't wait to see what else you made from that great collection of fabrics!
blue sea maybe I love it mom.
Dear Allie,
I love your quilt and I love scraps too! It is somehow more satisfying than cutting up fq's to make "something" else :0)
I often pop over to see you and want to leave you with greetings from over the ocean ...
The Lord is Risen!
He is Risen indeed!
