Mikayla "Princess Me"

I think about Mikayla a lot. But at this time of year I seem to think of her constantly.
 Isn't she a beautiful girl?
I think Mikayla understood so much. Even through all her pain, she seemed to be able to sooth those around her. I believe she talked to angels.  She taught us so much.

I was lucky enough to get to be with her for her last few hours. I will always consider that such a blessing. I find it amazing how strong my sister was able to be through this whole experience. Such a lesson in grace.  There were so many people who did so much to be a blessing to Mikayla and her family. Sometimes in the worst of situations, you find the best in people. I'm so grateful to them.
Sometimes it is hard for me to believe she has been gone for four years.
I know she is always close, but we miss her.

Such a precious child, now not only talking with angels, but walking with Jesus.

What a wonderful post. She is so beautiful! I remember when you went down to be with them. I can't believe it was 4 years ago.
Miss you!

True love isn't really all that strange. You'll never stop missing her, or stop thinking about her. She'll always be walking with you, as you will carry her in your heart. I'm confident she not only talked with angels, that she is among angels, and that Mikayla is an angel now.

Hugs, many hugs.

What a brave little soul, I believe some children are just to good to stay. I know she watches over you and your family, God wouldn't have it any other way.

Allie, was Mikayla's family home schooled? I am part of a home school group and it seems to me I remember prayer being asked for her.

She's beautiful and it was a special tribute. I think of my sister, everyday - lost her 36 years ago. Memories return when I see things especially sweet or lovely that I think she would enjoy. May it be the same for you.

Mom you are a great aunt to every niece or nephew you have. You are great to Amy and her family and I am sure they like you. No one could be a better sister to Amy than you.
